Relish Mary One Semi-hollow Electric Guitar

Innovative body design

Every detail of Mary One’s construction was painstakingly engineered by Relish to give players a completely new playing experience. It all starts with a thin semi-hollowbody construction that Relish dubbed the “Floating Sandwich.” It consists of an aluminum core with an alder/ash laminate for the top and back. The top is permanently attached, while the back is securely held in place by a group of magnets. Rubber rings isolate the back panel, allowing the string-through aluminum core to vibrate as freely as possible. By using aluminum, Relish gave the Mary One a completely unique character. It’s bright and powerful with seriously long sustain. And, to top it all off, it feels just like a regular axe when you pick it up to play.

Bent maple neck reduces the risk of headstock breaks

The Mary One is equipped with a neck that’s unlike almost any other neck on the market. Made from a single piece of quartersawn maple, the neck features a bent headstock to provide the optimal string angle without compromising the strength of the neck. To prove how strong their necks are, Relish sent a replacement neck to Sweetwater’s product testing team and challenged them to find a way to break it. Many people took turns standing on the neck, but none managed to deal any damage. While we don’t recommend that you stand on your brand-new Relish, we feel confident that this guitar can stand up to whatever punishment you put it through.

Instead of lugging five guitars to your shows, you can buy more pickup sets and travel with a variety of hot-swappable tones in a single guitar case. As long as your favorite pickups are the size of a standard humbucker, our professional guitar techs can mount them for you! Be sure to call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for more information, as some pickups — such as single-coils — are not currently available with this kit.

Integrated piezo system

Mary One has a few more tones hidden inside its semi-hollow body. It’s loaded with a Graph Tech Ghost piezo system located in the bridge. This allows Mary One to create realistic acoustic tones. The piezo system has a dedicated volume knob that allows you to blend the signal with your electric pickups. For further tonal variation, the piezo’s volume control is equipped with a push-pull pot that engages a mid boost. To handle any application, this guitar has a stereo output that splits the piezo and magnetic pickup signals, so you can route them to different amps in your setup.
