Developed in collaboration with renowned guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan to be his ideal "flying amp," V30 The Jack MKII gives you everything you need to perform in a compact format. Two channels deliver a wide tonal range, from clear, high-headroom cleans to crushing rock overdrive; a switchable Crunch mode on the clean channel fills in the edge-of-breakup territory between the two extremes. Factor in High and Low power modes, switchable MKI/MKII EQ curves, and an effects loop for your delay and reverb pedals, and the Victory Amplification V30 The Jack MKII supplies everything a hard-touring guitarist could ask for.



Tailor your headroom with High and Low power modes

Every gigging guitarist knows that you can't always turn your amp up to its sweet spot in smaller venues, and that's why Sweetwater is pleased to report the V30 The Jack MKII features High and Low power modes to manage your headroom. In High power mode, you're working with about 40 watts, giving you plenty of volume and headroom in most venues. When you need to dial it back, engage Low power for 7-watt operation: you'll hit that sweet, singing tube breakup at more manageable volume levels, without sacrificing the tone and feel you need to perform your best.

From clean to mean and everything in between

Modern guitar marvel Guthrie Govan's music covers a vast sonic range, and that's why he made sure the V30 The Jack MKII offers the tonal versatility he needs. The clean channel delivers remarkable clarity and articulation, with high headroom that allows you to play dynamically without unwanted breakup. The OD channel delivers all the gain you need for modern rock, generating plenty of grind and girth while maintaining definition. And when you need that velvety edge-of-breakup response, switch on the clean channel's crunch mode to revel in sweet harmonic richness.

Tighten low-end response with the Nomod function

As a response to player demands, the V30 The Jack MKII features a switchable Nomod function that tailors its bass response. The MKI setting is the classic V30 response, which is relatively loose and airy. MKII mode tightens the low-end response, giving the amp's feel a speedy response even with heavier overdrive tones. The Nomod function is even footswitchable via a latching footswitch (included).
