AION MODULAR 921ABB

Aion's 921ABB is a Eurorack VCO bank inspired by original Moog modular systems. Providing two oscillators coupled to a single "Oscillator Driver," the 921ABB is one of the easiest and most sincere ways to add vintage Moog-style oscillator tones into a Eurorack setup.

Both of the 921ABB's oscillators are internally connected to the Oscillator Driver section. The oscillator driver is a means of providing control information to both oscillators simultaneously, allowing creation of thick, detuned drones, huge PWM basslines, and more. While these oscillators are not fully indpendent, they offer a number of distinct advantages, including the ability to create stacked intervals, crazy sync sounds, and more. The oscillator driver provides direct control and CV control of pulse width ("rectangular width") for each oscillator, as well as three 1V/Oct inputs.

The individual oscillators offer hard sync, linear and exponential frequency control (without attenuation), and simultaneous outputs for sine, triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waveshapes. Each oscillator can be separately detuned and offset to different octaves, great for creating complex timbres impossible with a single oscillator.

The unique workflow of Moog's oscillator banks may seem peculiar by current standards—but it leads to the unmistakable, huge sounds that have become synonymous with Moog modular synths.
