Jeff Jewitt JG-00 Mahogany/Sitka - Vintage Burst

The sunburst on this guitar is a hybrid “hand-applied”/spray applied. The center yellow and reddish inside colors are applied by hand and then the darker perimeter color is hand applied then sealed. Then a slightly darker color is applied again with a spray gun to refine it a bit be=er. I don’t like the “hard” edges with dark colors you some@mes get by hand applying the sunburst. The advantage though of hand applying the colors directly to bare wood is that you accentuate the figure and silk of the spruce. (ala Kevin Kopp)The neck is similar to a “low-profile” neck shape.
