The tone is generated by a pair of USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers — SH-2n Jazz in the neck and SH-4 JB in the bridge. As such, it can serve up a smorgasbord of tones, from jazzy cleans to full shred. Navigating this guitar's comfortable, fast C-shaped neck is effortless, as your fingers dance on its smooth bound ovangkol fingerboard. Reduced-size body, fast neck, and silky fingerboard
Playing the D’Angelico Deluxe Premier Mini DC is sheer joy. It features a reduced-size laminated maple body with laminated maple top and a solid center block for maximum tone and sustain. Its maple neck boasts a comfortable C profile for the perfect blend of grip and ease of movement. Its 14-inch-radius fingerboard features 22 medium frets. This silky smooth ovangkol fretboard enables comfortable chording while facilitating technically demanding leads. The instrument’s easy hand feel is a byproduct of its 25-inch scale length, which makes bends and vibrato feel effortless, while its double cutaway body shape gives you optimized high-register access. For rock-solid tuning stability, the Premier Mini DC is equipped with locking tuners, while a custom PPS nut bolsters sustain and eliminates string binding.

The D’Angelico Premier Mini DC comes loaded with a set of genuine Seymour Duncan humbuckers. When you need old-school southern rock, flip on the bridge pickup and go to town. This potent sonic elixir is routed through a 3-way toggle switch and per-pickup volume and tone controls. The D’Angelico legacy
After mastering his craft during an 18-year apprenticeship, luthier John D’Angelico opened his own shop in Manhattan’s Little Italy in 1932. Catering to New York’s many jazz musicians over the ensuing three decades, D’Angelico and a single apprentice became New York’s foremost stringed instrument builders, creating over one thousand treasured archtop guitars until John’s death in 1964. After his passing, the D’Angelico’s legacy lived on only through his rare, legendary instruments. After decades, the D’Angelico brand has resurfaced, bringing back the playability and attention to detail of the company’s New York roots. Today, Sweetwater is delighted to offer this fine line of distinguished instruments. D’Angelico uses state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and the finest available materials to create playable works of art for today’s guitarist.
