Based on the classic Moog modular system, Aion Modular's 907A provides the iconic performance of one of the best-loved fixed filter banks of all time. Offering ten filter bands each with independent level control, the 907A FFB can produce everything from eerie space ship ambience to utility equalization effects. Feed in white noise to create howling bands of quasi-tonal sound, or pass in a saw or square wave for peculiar formant-like accentuations—but whatever you do, be prepared to be amazed at the enormous range of tones that one LPF, eight BPFs, and one HPF can provide.

The discerning synthesist may note that the 907A doesn't provide voltage control of any parameters—but even in a world where modular synthesizers are adorned with dozens of LEDs and endless CV control, the 907A is a perfect case of simplicity turning out better than complexity. Plug in, turn some knobs, and you'll never care that CV control is not an option.
