The AKG C 4000 B Stage & Studio Condenser Microphone is the only electret dual large-diaphragm transducer mic in the world, and a versatile, cost-efficient tool for high-quality recording. Based on the famous Solid Tube with a similar sound, the AKG C4000 B Mic uses a transistorized impedance converter/pre-amp instead of a tube circuit. Its transformerless output stage ensures exceptionally accurate low-frequency response. The AKG C 4000 B is affordably priced to make it attractive mainly for small home and project studios. Its design provides 3 different polar patterns (omni, cardioid, and hypercardioid) selectable on the mic, making it suitable for many applications, even live sound. Features pre-attenuation pad switching and a bass-cut filter for suppressing low-frequency noise. Requires phantom power.
