The Rothwell Atomic Booster was designed and produced in the UK to give clean boost that does not color your signal. By increasing the level of the signal or just the treble frequencies, you can drive a tube amp into distortion or boost the level for solos.

The Rothwell Atomic Booster is can proved up to 20db of boost with very little noise to color the sound but turning up the Level Boost Knob. The Treble Boost knob is great for brightening up pickups that were to muddy or just were unable to cut through a mix. A tele neck pickup comes to mind.
