The Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B is a hybrid JFET/germanium boost pedal specifically voiced for bass.ﾠ Utilizing a JFET for some upper end sparkle and an NOS germanium transistor, the Phat Phuk B adds some extra tone when and where it's needed.ﾠ When engaged it brings the lows up to match the mids for a fuller sound as well as adding a nice sheen to the highs.ﾠ There's also some grit involved for a truly "vintage" amp vibe to any bass.ﾠ The Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B is perfect for boosting solos or adding some extra raunch and level to put the bass out front.ﾠ It's designed to accentuate all the right frequencies and will accommodate tunings all the way down to a five string low B and lower.ﾠ Just like all Wren and Cuff pedals, the Phat Phuk B is hand-assembled with meticulous wiring and built sturdy to withstand the rigors of live playing.ﾠ
