The Wendigo is a mythical, cannibalistic creature/spirit that could either possess a human or that a human could transform into.ﾠ The Tortuga Effects Wendigo Fuzz isn't a cannibalistic pedal but it has the ability to eat other fuzz pedals for lunch.ﾠ Well, it's sort of cannibalistic? Anyway, the Wendigo is a silicon brother to the Yeti Fuzzstortion that is based on the Dallas Arbiter Fuzzface but with more balance and efficiency.ﾠ The Tortuga Effects Wendigo Fuzz features controls that go beyond the norm and bring more control and tonal variety to the user.ﾠ The normal volume and fuzz controls (Howl and Growl respectively) are present but that is where the normal fuzz ends and the fun begins.ﾠ Play nicely with the Wendigo and it will produce thick, tight 70's style fuzz that will make any amp sing.ﾠ Make Him Mad and the Wendigo Fuzz will start squealing in Anger, the amount of his freakout is up to the user.ﾠ This pissed off, wailing beast's howl can be controlled via the volume and tone knob on the guitar to produce many different tones and pitches.ﾠ The Tortuga Effects Wendigo Fuzz is a beast of a pedal that is fun and fuzzy to play with but don't let him near your Fuzzface, it may become lunch.
