Saying the Neo Instruments Ventilator is a Leslie effect is a bit simplistic.ﾠ It simulates a modelﾠ 122 mic'd with a stereo pair on the treble rotor and a single mono mic on the drum holding the woofer.ﾠ There is a Distance knob for simulating the mic placement, as well as Speed and Acceleration controls for adjusting the rotors.ﾠ As in the original the bass and treble rotors move out of synch.ﾠ There is also a tube simulation Drive control that delivers true tube-like drive to your organ or guitar.ﾠ The speaker simulation can be bypassed for use with a guitar or utilized when playing a keyboard.ﾠ The Neo Instruments Ventilator also features a relay-based true bypass circuit, a must for guitarists who cherish their tone.ﾠ The Ventilator is a perfect example of technology driven, organic tone and was built to satisfy even the most discriminating user.ﾠ If true Leslie tone is sought, the Neo Instruments Ventilator will rise to the occasion without having to move furniture for a gig.
