Pete Anderson, the renowned guitarist noted for his work with Dwight Yoakam, wanted a guitar with a vintage aesthetic but the modern features that today 's players need. Reverend Guitars wanted to build a hollow-body. The result of their collaboration is the Reverend Pete Anderson Signature. Built with maple back and sides and capped with a spruce top, the Reverend Pete Anderson Signature is capable of snappy, bright tones that blend perfectly with the inherent resonance and low end of a hollow-body. Since feedback is an issue with hollow-bodies in general, the Reverend Pete Anderson Signature utilizes a unique Uni-Brace structure. The Uni-Brace connects the neck block to the bridge block leaving the cavity under the pickups and the rest of the body completely hollow. This enables the Reverend Pete Anderson Signature to virtually eliminate feedback, enhances sustain, and allows for a pinned TOM roller bridge to be installed instead of the commonly found floating bridges. The Reverend PA-1 is loaded with Reverend P-90 's for classic grit and, coupled with the maple/spruce body woods, also provide a surprising amount of sparkle for a hollow-body. The Reverend Pete Anderson Signature is the perfect hollow-body for those that need more modern features but require that classic look.
