In the vein of classic double cutaway guitars, Reverend unleashes the Sensei HB-FM. This solid body instrument pays homage to the classic American double cutaway with a solid Korina body and Maple top that deliver dynamic, lively tone with lots of sustain and resonance. The Joe Naylor designed Revered humbucking pickups are calibrated for even response and tone with the bridge pickup wound slightly hotter than a vintage PAF and the neck pickup slightly cleaner. The Reverend Sensei HB-FM delivers a slightly thicker than vintage tone that is punchy, resonant, and rich with overtones as well as responsive to pick attack and dynamics. The Reverend Bass Contour control allows the low end to be rolled off producing a cleaner, brighter tone more reminiscent of a P-90 or single-coil that delivers some twang as well. The set neck allows for unparalleled upper fret access and the medium oval shape is comfortable for both the lovers of thin and thick necks. The Reverend Sensei HB-FM delivers all the tone and playability one would expect from a double-cut solid body guitar and with the unique Bass Contour control allows for maximum versatility to go from scorching rock and blues to twangy country and jazz.
