The Burns Marquee Pro is a spin-off of the wildly successful Burns Marvin model with a few contemporary features for the modern guitarist. The alder body has an S-style resemblance with a slightly beefier shape and comfortable cutouts. The lightly flamed Canadian maple neck is capped with a rosewood fretboard with a compound 10”-12”radius and vintage size frets that provide an incredibly smooth playing experience. The Marquee Pro has replaced the original Rez-O-Tube vibrato system with the smooth-operating Wilkinson “Wave” knife-edge tremolo system for quick response and perfect “return to zero” operation. Burns Guitars has also replace the original Rez-O-Matic pickups with Burns Trisonics for a big, spanky tone delivered with low noise and a classic vibe. The Burns Marquee Pro is an instant classic that will deliver spanky cleans and glorious dirt tones in the vein of classic and contemporary rock, surf, blues, and even jazz.
