The Hagstrom Swede is a single-cut, mahogany solid-body guitar that is designed to bring powerful, fundamental rich rock tones with no nonsense attached. The classic design of set mahogany neck on a solid mahogany body delivers the punch and power with articulation and sparkle provided by the patented Resinator fingerboard. The neck also features Hagstrom’s patented H-Expander truss rod that allows for low action and a thinner neck design without sacrificing stability. The Hagstrom Swede is loaded with Hagstrom Custom 58 Alnico V humbuckers which provide a warm, vintage tone reminiscent of the popular PAF sound. These pickups coupled with the Hagstrom 3-way sound filter control allows for a huge variety of tones from this single guitar. The Swede features Hagstrom’s Long Travel TOM bridge with a stop tailpiece for perfect intonation and large amounts of sustain. The Hagstrom Swede is a no-nonsense rock machine that delivers rock and blues tones in spades and is tough enough to take any abuse on the road or in the home.
