For those searching for a more simple setup with more vintage growl than the Swede, the Hagstrom Swede SE is for you. This big sounding mahogany guitar is built just like the Swede but has the traditional controls of classic single-cut guitars and the humbuckers have been swapped out for Hagstrom P-90S single coils. Traditional P-90’s can be a bit weak on the output so Hagstrom addressed that problem with the P-90S, a beefed up P-90 that adds some output and some bite to the traditional “grind”. The Hagstrom Swede SE also features Hagstrom’s Resinator fingerboard and H-Expander truss rod for superior stability, a quick feel, and articulate tone. The search for that classic, bluesy grind has come to an end with the Hagstrom Swede SE.
