When Josh and Switchfoot 's Drew Shirley got together to build Drew a fuzz pedal, the primary concern was having a single pedal that could cover most any fuzz sound. The result was the JHS Bunrunner 2-in-1 Fuzz. The JHS Bunrunner is a combination of an Astro Mess fuzz on one side and a modified germanium Tonebender on the other. The Astro Mess side delivers all the heavy, gated fuzz one could desire and the Tonebender side goes from 70 's rock fuzz to warm overdrive. This in itself makes the JHS Bunrunner a versatile pedal but running both fuzzes together is where the fun really starts. The many shades and textures of fuzz available are almost endless, each dripping with harmonics and lush, natural sound. The JHS Bunrunner is a versatile tone machine to be sure, but it is capable of much more than your average fuzz pedal.
