The Ibanez AW50 Artwood Series dreadnought acoustic guitar was crafted to produce a guitar that was both traditional and modern. Technology moves forward at a frantic pace and the world of guitar craftsmanship is no different. In producing the AW50 Ibanez respected the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in a continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone.

Featuring the stronger and more durable Ivorex II nut the AW50 has brilliant highs and more pronounced lows. The Ivorex II saddle is specially formulated to provide ultra-fast response and maximum sound transfer to the body. The AW50 is constructed of sapele back and sides with a solid sitka spruce top, giving it a high velocity and clear tone.
