One never knows when they might need a preamp, boost, or overdrive and when on the move, rearranging or adding pedals to the pedalboard is not always possible. Enter the DMB Cosmic Crunch. This is a swiss army knife pedal that can adapt to any situation on the go. The DMB Cosmic Crunch acts as a preamp, a boost, or a harmonic-laden overdrive. Two knobs keep it simple, one for Volume and one for Gain, allowing for fast adjustment on the go. Plenty of volume on tap means the DMB Cosmic Crunch is a perfect clean boost or set it at unity or right above to push signal through long cable runs. By increasing the Gain knob, varying amounts of grit and overdrive can be added for harmonically rich saturation that cleans up with pick attack and guitar volume adjustments. Another feature of the DMB Cosmic Crunch is the Boost/Cut mini toggle switch. This affects the midrange content of the overall tone. Cut mode yields a flatter, more even frequency response while Boost mode boosts the midrange for cutting through a mix or getting that vintage “grind”. The DMB Cosmic Crunch is a perfect “always on” pedal or great for adding an “overdrive channel” to a clean amplifier.
