The Bite control allows attenuation of the high frequencies in the gain stage and can be used to tame the upper end or add sparkle to a darker guitar/amp combination. Now there’s a lot of British-voiced overdrives on the market but what makes the DMB Lexi Drive unique is the addition of the Clean knob. Utilizing Class A mixer technology, DMB has split the original signal from the overdriven signal and allows for mixing the two together. Unlike most “blend” controls, both the Level and the Clean controls interact to form a variety of mixing combinations of the two signals for a huge array of sounds.
