The VFE Triumvirate is a first in guitar distortion/overdrive pedals.ﾠ This unique circuit begins by splitting the guitar signal into three bands (Hi, Mid, Low) via a second-order crossover network.ﾠ Each band is then sent into its own distortion generation before being mixed back in with the other two at the output.ﾠ This allows the VFE Triumvirate to give the user total control over the level and saturation of each band for an extremely versatile and usable effect.ﾠ Using the internal Pre-Gain control, the three bands of the VFE Triumvirate can go from gritty overdrive to saturated, fuzzed-out distortion.ﾠ Think about it... clean full low end with a tiny bit of grit on the highs, perfect for that cookin country sound or... heavily distorted midrange with some low end drive and some grit on the highs for a lead tone that slices through the mix like butter, or... well you get the idea.ﾠ The VFE Triumvirate is a true stepping stone in the search for ultimate flexibility in a distortion pedal and for a really fun experiment, try it on bass!
