The Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe is a tribute, and to some degree reissue of, the classic JB Hutto Montgomery Airline guitar most notably seen in the hands of guitar-guru Jack White. While the original had a hollow Reso-Glas body, the Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe features a tone chambered mahogany body for a bit smoother tone. The classic aesthetic is still there with a slightly enlarged headstock and beefy block inlays. The Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe is loaded with Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers for noise-free operation. Don 't let the name fool you though, these pickups are bright and brash with an almost single-coil character that has plenty of punch and sparkle. Producing a unique tone, the Airline 2P Deluxe is woody and charismatic with plenty of resonance and sustain and an almost hollow personality to the sound. Each pickup has individual Volume and Tone controls as well as a Master Volume control for the circuit enabling the Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe to get any subtle combination of the pickups that one might desire.
