This Fender Custom Shop 1955 Stratocaster puts the tone, the look, the feel and the performance of the original Stratocaster in your hands. This guitar is #38 out of a limited run of 150 and is crafted to the same specifications of the earliest Strats, with a few custom modifications to bring out the finest sound and playability. The contoured ash body shows off a thin layer of custom Desert Sand nitrocellulose lacquer that lets its remarkable resonance ring out, and it is tastefully road worn to convey the mojo of a decades-old relic, a feel and sound that every Strat lover should experience. The ’69 bridge pickup, the Fat 50’s pickups in the neck and middle, and the 5-position switch give you a broad sonic spectrum of tones, while the quarter sawn ‘57 Soft-V maple neck and fretboard with taller 6105 frets and a flatter 9.5” radius make it an absolute delight to play.
