This Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1950's Telecaster puts the tone, the look, the feel and the performance of an original in your hands. This guitar is #52 out of a limited run of 150 and is crafted to the same specifications of the coveted Telecasters of the 1950s, with a few modern custom modifications to enhance its sound and playability. The ash body shows off a thin layer of custom Lake Placid Blue nitrocellulose lacquer that lets its remarkable resonance ring out, and it is tastefully and gently worn to convey the charm of a decades-old relic that may have been forgotten in a closet for the past 60 years. The Twisted Tele neck pickup and the Abby hand-wound Hot Nocaster Bridge pickup, signed by Abigail Ibarra, of course, and the 3-position switch with modern wiring give you the full spectrum of tones you expect from a Tele, while the quarter sawn 57 Soft “V” neck, taller 6105 frets and a flatter 9.5” radius make it an absolute delight to play.
