This Fender Custom Shop 60s Telecaster puts the tone, the look, the feel and the performance of an original in your hands. This guitar is #58 out of a limited run of 150 and is crafted to the same specifications of the coveted Telecasters of the early 1960s, with a few custom modifications to bring out the finest sound and playability. The ash body shows off a thin layer of custom Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer that lets its remarkable resonance ring out, and it is tastefully and gently worn to convey the charm of a decades-old relic that may have been forgotten in a closet for the past 50 years. The Twisted Tele neck pickup and the Abby hand-wound ’67 Tele Bridge pickup, signed by Abigail Ibarra, of course, and the 3-position switch with modern wiring give you all of the tones you expect from a Tele, while the quarter sawn mid-60s oval “C” neck, rosewood fretboard with taller 6105 frets and a flatter 9.5” radius make it an absolute delight to play.
