An 8-string guitar pickup that greatly enhances the tone of your low B string.

The EMG 707X pickup has been leading the pack of EMG's 7-string guitar pickups since its debut in 2001, and is now available in an 8-string version! Before this EMG pickup model was introduced, existing 8-string guitar pickups sounded muddy and dull on the low B string, especially when trying to hit artificial and natural harmonics, but the EMG 808X pickup eliminates those problems. Featuring Alnico V, loaded, wide-aperture coils, EMG was able to beef up that low B tone and at the same time provide a more responsive and super-tight overall sound. Whether you are ringing out Opeth-style jazzy chords or playing palm-muted death chugs, even with the amp set to "kill" these guitar pickups will articulate every note harmonically and squeal whatever you ask of them. Used equally in bridge and neck positions, the EMG 808X guitar pickups will forever change how you hear and play your 8-string guitar.
