Do you want to play leads all the way up the neck? Play longer? Play louder? Now you can with this super-comfortable, easy-to-play acoustic-electric from Martin.
Martin S series body shape
The first thing you’ll notice is the new S body shape. Designed from the ground up to be plugged in, the asymmetrical body provides balanced output so you get more gain before feedback. Turn it up and worry less about playing loud on stage.
The Sure Align neck system
In addition to a new body design, the revolutionary new neck joint and cutaway will intrigue you. For the patent-pending Sure Align neck system, Martin removed the heel to give you full access to all 19 frets. No more contorting your hand to reach those high notes. Now you can play comfortably all the way up the fretboard. It’s also fully adjustable, both for inclination and intonation. So you’ll have a guitar that can adapt to different playing styles and string gauges and always play ideally.
Low-profile velocity neck barrel
The SC-13E is also equipped with a new, low-profile velocity neck barrel that ergonomically accommodates your hand, giving it the comfort and playability of an electric. You no longer have to bring multiple guitars to a gig. Now you can play all night with one guitar.
Martin and Fishman electronics
The SC-13E is designed to perform live and features Fishman MX-T electronics. The volume and tone controls are tucked inside the soundhole, along with a well-lit tuner that mutes audio automatically when engaged. The S-series model is still a Martin so you know it will sound amazing unplugged. Whether you’re on stage, in the studio, or just strumming at home, the SC-13E removes the limitations of the traditional acoustic-electric guitar. Now you can play your way without limits.
