This Fender Custom Shop 1962 Stratocaster puts the tone, the look, the feel and the performance of an original in your hands. It is crafted to the same specifications of the coveted Stratocaster of the early 1960s, but with a few custom modifications to bring out the finest sound and playability. The alder body shows off a thin layer of custom Vintage White nitrocellulose lacquer that lets its remarkable resonance ring out, and it is tastefully and gently worn to convey the charm of a decades-old relic that may have been forgotten in a closet for the past 50 years. The era-correct 60s Strat pickups and the 5-position switch with modern wiring give you all of the finest tone you expect from a Strat, while the mid-60s oval “C” neck, rosewood fretboard with taller 6105 frets and a flatter 9.5” radius make it an absolute delight to play.
