The Eastwood Mandocaster is a blast from past with modern additions. The Mandocaster is a new interpretation of the early 60's Fender electric 4 string mandolin that quickly gained popularity among mando' players everywhere. Eastwood has added 4 more strings and an additional neck pickup with an accompanying 3 way pickup selector. Sporting a mini Telecaster body and familiar lines, the Mandocaster captures the magic of the original and even improves upon it. The solid alder body makes for a clear natural resonance and the rosewood fretboard allows the most delicate of vibrations to be translated faithfully to the two single coil pickups. Eastwood has even added a fully intonatable Tele' style bridge, a feature that truly enhances this Mandolin's play-ability.
