The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 50s Tele NOS is part of the Master Vintage Players Series (MVP) Limited Edition run, built exclusively for Make'n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.

This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1951 Nocaster / 1952 Telecaster, but built to modified early 50s Tele specs with a very special, New Old Stock (NOS) finish package to provide the ultimate tone and feel! Thin, hard, Nocaster Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer on the body gives this guitar a rich, elegant look while the gunstock oil finish on the back of the neck provides a silky smooth feel- all while allowing the wood to breathe and age gracefully.


It was also built with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker pickup in the neck position for a fatter, beefier, "Keefier" vibe. Combined with the Broadcaster bridge pickup and the modern Tele wiring, this is a more tonally versatile choice than a stock, Nocaster / Telecaster.


The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16" nut width, flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.


I feel like I'm hosting an infomercial here- But Wait! There's more!!! It's all true though. These are great guitars. You can't make this up! ... Did I mention these guitars also have the ultra-comfy, 10/56 Soft "V" neck profile carved from a solid piece of quarter-sawn Maple for the ultmost in stability and tone.
