Tonewood that's sustainably sourced
At Musician's Friend, we love that no clear-cut woods are used in the Breedlove Organic Collection. To collect the mahogany that makes up this guitar, the Breedlove team ventured to the source—the African Congo River Basin, the world's second-largest rainforest. Mahogany has a dry, warm timbre with a midrange presence that recording engineers love, whether miked up or coming through Breedlove's clean, easy-to-use Natural Sound electronics.
Soft cutaway and small Concertina shape
Breedlove's Concertina is the brand's take on the eternal parlor guitar, with a short-scale 12-fret neck shifting the pinless bridge to a sweet spot on the small body. The result is a rich, round bass response tempered by sweet, sustained trebles. A soft cutaway provides you with unfettered and unlimited access to all 18 frets.
