The Taylor K24ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar is alluring to the eyes and ears with its Hawaiian koa back, sides, and top. This rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. The visual allure of the koa is complemented with shimmering abalone trim around the top and soundhole, while figured maple binds the body, fingerboard, soundhole, peghead, and heelcap. The K24ce acoustic electric guitar is performance-ready, with a Venetian cutaway and Taylor's Expression System electronics.

The grand auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular shape, excelling at both light-touch fingerstyle to full-blown strumming. Great for miking and recording, The grand auditorium's balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice. The Venetian cutaway of the K24ce offers maximum playability.

Designed to faithfully reproduce true acoustic guitar tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.

The finish used to create the lustrous gloss top, back, and sides of the K24ce guitar was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
