The Duesenburg Imperial hearkens back to the old timey rock and roll days with a classic, hollow body design that cannot be mistaken. Built with an arched spruce top with maple back and sides, the Duesenburg Imperial has a snappy, lively tone that is still big and round for those old-school rockabilly licks and snappy country lines. Not just a one-trick pony, the Duesenburg Imperial is loaded with a Grand Vintage humbucker for quiet, vintage tones and a Domino single-coil in the neck position for big, rhythm tones that still have plenty of sparkle and snap. Other appointments are the Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe tremolo, the modern recreation of classic tremolo tailpieces that brings vintage vibrato to the modern player without ruining the tuning. All Duesenberg hardware and custom wound pickups means that this rockin’ bad boy sounds like nothing else on the planet.
