This built to order Taylor Custom GS is a work of art that found its
way to us when the person who ordered it never picked it up. It has
the huge sound of a Florentine Cutaway Taylor Grand Symphony body, with
the warm, complex, cedar-like tones of a solid Redwood top reinforced
with Taylor’s advanced Adirondack CV Bracing and a Relief Rout for even
more depth of tone, and the lush, bright foundation tones of Walnut
back and sides that will age beautifully into an ever deepening bottom
end. The mahogany neck is capped with an ebony fretboard and a bone nut
to match the ebony bridge with its bone saddle and is decorated with
an ornate mother of pearl tree inlay that compliments the shaded
edgeburst finish, cocobolo rosette and bindings, and gold 510 Gotoh
tuners to make this Custom GS as beautiful as it sounds.


In addition to its great look and magnificent acoustic sound, this
Custom GS has the ES ® integrated pickup system that allows you to plug
in and be heard in any situation. The ES® combines an under-the-bridge
transducer with Taylor’s Dynamic Body Sensor® fastened to the
soundboard, and a Dynamic String Sensor® built-in beneath the fretboard
to faithfully pick up every nuance of your music with the same clear,
natural acoustic sound you hear when you play unplugged, while the
battery powered onboard preamp provides dynamic response and a custom
voiced EQ with active Volume, Bass and Treble controls to shape your
amplified sound. The Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown Case ensures that
this guitar will always be ready for the stage, studio, or maybe its
own wing of a guitar museum.
