The Reverend Thundergun pours out bass tones big enough to shake the
ground and leave you shell-shocked. The solid Korina body has a raised
center section for greater resonance to provide even better clarity and
sustain. A specially designed Thick Brick bridge pickup delivers a
warm, organic punch, and a Split Brick neck pickup serves up powerful
lows, articulate highs, and open mids, while the Pickup Pan control
increases the volume of one pickup as it reduces the other. Dial in
either pickup on its own or blend the two for the perfect balance. The
5-piece, bolt-on, maple/walnut neck has a bound rosewood fretboard for
warm, well-defined tones with a 34” scale length, 21 medium jumbo frets
and a 12” radius for playability, while the reverse headstock keeps the
higher strings tight and accurate while adding mass and flexibility to
the lower strings for added harmonic depth. The Lock Down bridge gives
you a rock solid foundation and can be strung though the body or on
the top, through the end of the bridge, for the sound you like best,
while the open-gear tuners feature massive, half inch shafts for added
mass and better string wear. With a 3-ply black pickguard, wine red
finish and chrome hardware, the Reverend Thundergun Bass has the look
and sound of a serious force of nature.
