The Reverend Decision Bass updates the great sound of two classic
basses and brings them together in a single instrument, with a few
modern innovations. The bound, solid korina body is equipped with a
specially designed, hum-cancelling Reverend J-Rails bridge pickup, for a
percussive punch like a vintage J bass pickup with more midrange for
greater presence. The Split Brick neck pickup serves up powerful lows,
articulate highs, and open mids. A single Pickup Pan control reduces
the volume of one pickup as it increases the other, letting you select
either on its own or blend the two for the perfect balance. The 5-piece,
bolt-on, maple/walnut neck with a bound rosewood fretboard for warm,
well-defined tones and has a 34” scale length, 21 medium jumbo frets
and a 12” radius for playability. The Lock Down bridge gives you a rock
solid foundation and can be strung though the body or on the top,
through the end of the bridge, for the sound you like best, while open
gear tuners feature massive, half inch shafts for added mass and better
string wear. The Reverend Decision Bass’ beautifully bound party red
finish, 3-ply white pickguard and chrome hardware create a stunning
look as great as its sound.
