Giffin Guitars Valiant Electric Guitar Ice Tea Burst

A modern, solid-body guitar with deluxe appointments and Amalfitano Fullbucker pickups.




The Giffin Valiant Electric Guitar has a slightly offset body shape to get away from a traditional look. It has a thicker body for a little added depth of sound. The neck joint has an extra long tenon that runs under the neck pickup position. This helps to generate great string vibration transfer into the body.

For maximum playability, the guitar has excellent access to the last frets by way of an extra-deep cutaway. The straight pull, 3-a-side headstock is designed to avoid any hang-ups at that end of the neck.

A small but useful detail is the front strap button that sits parallel to the neck instead of at 90 degrees to the body edge. This will prevent the strap from pulling off under "battle conditions" A wraparound bridge is used to achieve the best sustain characteristics. The guitar balances really well, both visually and physically.

His story begins in 1960's London, when many of the guitar gods we pray to were regular customers at Giffin Guitar Workshop, located under a bridge by the river Thames.

Since that time, boutique guitar master builder Roger Giffin's passion, expertise and design innovations have resulted in peerless instruments that place him in the pantheon of lutherie. His extensive artist list is among the most impressive in the industry.

Now Roger brings us the Valiant single cutaway, his beautifully playable response to the many artists who have asked him, "Roger, can you make me a Les Paul?"

The Valiant is built to Roger's exact design specifications by fellow PBG master builder Gene Baker in our state of the art USA workshop. Roger is in contact with Gene at every stage of the build, to ensure flawless execution.
