The Eastwood Airline 3P Deluxe is a tribute to the Valco-made guitars from the late fifties and sixties that are now highly sought after by players and collectors alike. You may have seen them in the hands of David Bowie, Jack White, and many others. While the originals had a hollow Res-O-Glas body, the Eastwood Airline 3P Deluxe features a resonant, toneful chambered mahogany body for a fatter, woodier tone. The classic look is still intact, with the distinctive large headstock and chunky block inlays. The Eastwood Airline 3P Deluxe sports a trio of Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers for noiseless operation. Even though these pickups are humbuckers, they still retain the cutting snarl and single-coil character of the originals. The Airline 3P Deluxe is woody and musical, with great acoustic resonance and sustain. Each pickup has individual Volume and Tone controls as well as a Master Volume control for the circuit enabling the Eastwood Airline 3P Deluxe to mix and match any combination of pickups that you can dream up.
