The Tele Custom is Big on Buckers
Fender waited until 1972 to mount a ‘bucker in a Tele body, but these Parallel Universe p’ups are a different breed altogether. The Tim Shaw-designed bridge and neck humbuckers have a well-defined voice, throaty and powerful. But if you want a single-coil tone (with no loss in output), it’s as easy as tapping on the volume knob. Also unique to this model: dual volume and tone controls.
A Mahogany Fender Body
Only in a parallel universe is there a Fender body in mahogany. Mahogany has a balanced tone, which makes it an ideal platform for multi-voiced humbuckers. Just like a vintage original Fender, it’s finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. We think you’ll love the way it ages.
Unique Hardware
With no tremolo in the way, your strings will stay stable with the anchored tailpiece. The Adjusto-Matic bridge will help you dial in the right intonation. The Tele Custom’s vintage-style tuners, like the rest of the hardware, is finished in gold.
Lots of Style
Visually, there’s a lot to like about the Troublemaker Tele Custom.
