The Breedlove
American OM/SRe Herringbone acoustic-electric guitar features an
Orchestra Model (OM) shape, with strong lower midranges and versatile
dynamics. Built with a smaller length, depth and waist compared to the
popular dreadnought body, Breedlove's Orchestral guitar is popular for
acoustic and fingerstyle players.


The solid Sitka spruce top and
solid mahogany back and sides offer balanced, full-range tone with lots
of clear projection. The rosewood fingerboard, and the one-piece
mahogany neck produce rich clarity from note to note. The Breedlove
American OM/SRe guitar's 25-1/2" scale, 1-3/4" nut width, and 16" radius
offer comfort for intricate finger movements, and the gloss finish adds
a high-end shine. The bridge truss system stiffens bridge and relaxes
soundboard to maximize sustain and resonate freely. The rosewood pinned,
winged bridge and scalloped bracing artfully balances string-to-top
energy. These design elements yield abundant overtones, complexity, body
resonance, and note-for-note swell ideal for creating natural effects,
single note complexity, and orchestral chording.


At the heart of
the Breedlove American OM/SRe is the L.R. Baggs Element Active VTC
Pickups System, letting you amplify your guitar quickly and easily. The
Element Active Volume and Tone control (VTC) pairs the Element
under-saddle transducer with a pre-contoured all-discrete class-A endpin
preamp, and includes a small, soundhole-mounted volume and tone control
for added convenience and versatility.
