The Taylor K22ce Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric
Guitar is alluring to the eyes and ears with its Hawaiian koa back,
sides, and top. This rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning
golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. The visual allure of
the koa is complemented with shimmering abalone trim around the top and
soundhole, while figured maple binds the body, fingerboard, soundhole,
peghead, and heelcap. The slotted headstock and tuners add a traditional
folk touch. The K22ce Grand Concert is performance-ready, with a
Venetian cutaway and Taylor's Expression System electronics.


The
Grand Concert is the quintessential small-bodied guitar. Its comfortable
shape delivers clarity and a balanced response for an unforgettable
player experience. Scaled-down proportions and short scale make the
Grand Concert ideal for fingerstyle playing.


Designed to
faithfully reproduce true acoustic guitar tone, the Taylor Expression
electronics utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string
vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio
pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly
integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard
tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored,
exceptionally clean amplified sound.


The finish used to create
the lustrous gloss top, back, and sides of the K22ce was developed at
Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This
ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than
traditional lacquer finishes.
