The Johnny A. Signature model electric guitar
from the Gibson Custom Shop combines innovative design with vintage
Gibson appointments to create a modern classic.


The revolutionary
body is completely hollow with an arched and contoured outer surface
and a flat inner back, resulting in a guitar that resonates more like a
flattop than an archtop. The alluring face of this exquisite instrument
is a beautifully figured solid AAA maple top. It rests atop an exclusive
Gibson body style and size with back and rims carved from a single
block of mahogany.


Johnny A. custom neck profile, and custom
pearl fingerboard inlays combine with traditional Gibson features like
multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and an Richlite fretboard to create an
instrument that captures the magic of Gibson's past while eagerly
anticipating the future.
