The DW 5000 Series Accelerator XF double pedal is everything that made the original such a well-trusted icon, stretched to accomodate another class of player.
All the bells and whistles
Beyond the XL footboard, this model includes all the professional enhancements that players expect from the 5000 Series double pedals. The AD4 "Accelerator" drive system offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke for extra speed and sensitivity. This double kick pedal also includes a tri-pivot toe clamp to fit more hoop sizes, dual-chain drive, Delta ball-bearing hinge and dual-bearing spring rocker. It's built with a single post so that the remote pedal fits closely with the 5000 Series hi-hat stand (now also available as an XF model).
