The Custom Shop 1967 Tele NOS (new old stock)
evokes the instrument's mid-to-late-'60s era with features including an
alder body with nitro finish, maple neck with large C shape,
round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets,
vintage 1967 Telecaster pickups, 3-way pickup switch with modern wiring,
three-ply parchment pickguard, and vintage hardware. You'll feel like
you've traveled decades back in time when you pick up the '1967 Tele NOS
(new old stock). This Custom Shop creation is an exact reproduction of
the original, made using the same tools and techniques, and precisely
duplicating the original specs. The guitar is NOS, as if this were 1967
and you just bought it new.

The Telecaster more than held its
own in the 1960s as a talented new generation of rock, blues, and
country guitarists not only embraced its classic sound but coaxed
electrifying new music from it. Telecaster guitar specifications changed
dramatically in 1968 thereby causing collectors to covet the original
1967 models.
