The top-of-the-line UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 2 DSP
Accelerator features Universal Audio’s most powerful PCIe processing
hardware, combined with an extensive collection of 73 UA-developed
plug-ins. In creating UAD plug-ins, UA’s DSP engineers work with the
original hardware manufacturers — using their exact schematics, golden
units, and experienced ears — to develop fully authenticated plug-ins
with all the warmth and harmonics of classic analog equipment.

The
UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 2 features eight SHARC processors and easily
installs into a PCIe-equipped desktop computer or compatible expansion
chassis (PCIe or Thunderbolt*), giving your Mac or PC the ultimate boost
in audio quality and mix processing power. With all 73 UA-developed**
plug-in titles — including Ampex, Manley, Lexicon, EMT, Empirical Labs,
Neve, Roland, Fairchild, Harrison, Little Labs, Studer, SSL, and many
more — the Ultimate 2 offers extraordinary sonic possibilities.

Fully
Mac and Windows 7-compatible, with support for VST, Audio Units, and
RTAS, the UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 2 is easy to use. Just install the
software and PCIe card, and start mixing with some of the world’s finest
audio plug-ins.


*Thunderbolt connectivity is available for Mac only.

UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 2 package does not include any Direct Developer
(3rd party) plug-ins, nor plug-ins released after UAD software v7.3.
