Download new sounds on the go Thanks to the iPad's wireless connectivity the DM Dock lets you tweak settings on the go. If you go to a new venue and your current snare sound doesn't quite cut it, then you can download a new one and have it ready to go in minutes. You can download a cymbal that cuts through the mix better if you need it. With the power of the DM Dock and the iPad you don't have to worry about these things days before because you can find an instantaneous solution. Pro connections for your gear Music production apps like Garageband truly come alive with the Alesis DM Dock. Besides the trigger inputs you also get a 1/4" headphone jack, an 1/8" input for connecting external audio sources, and balanced 1/4-inch stereo outputs for going to stereo monitors, the PA, or direct to your recorder. Connect the DM Dock to external MIDI devices or your computer with 5-pin and USB MIDI I/O.
