When we released our original Trinity, we received some stellar feedback. Our two new Ethereal modes alone made the pedal a winner. However, the rest of the algorithms were one-to-one with TCs original Hall of Fame reverb. When the time came to release a new version, we knew we had to up the stakes, and the result is a completely overhauled engine, bearing no similarities to the original hall of fame.
The new T2 is quite the mélange of reverbs; we took everything that people liked about the Ethereal 1 and 2 patches and used them as the blueprint for eight all-new algorithms that will take your guitar to the doorstep of the dark side.
While the original contained the usual assemblage of reverb algorithmsroom, spring, plate, et althe new algorithms are anything but pedestrian:
Position 1:Warm space and slow modulation with stretchy, elastic qualitiesslow undulations surround your tone and coat it in thick gobs of reverb.
Position 2:Long sustaining verb mixed with watery, organ-like vibratoa gentle modulation trails from a smooth, silky decay.
Position 3:Clear, glassy reverb with an ominous low end throbpristine rack reverb backed by a slow pulse.
Position 4:Huge cathedral without any boundariesimagine the haunting verb that would emanate from a cathedral of infinite dimensional space.
Position 5:Slow pitch bending reverb with doubling effectthis is a very unique gentle chorus effect that inspires more often than not.
Position 6:Syrupy plate reverb with warm tails and subtle modulationthe kind of reverb guys like Neil Young wishes they had.
Position 7:Flanger-Verb with classic 80's sweep that stays in tunea different type of modulation that sounds like a studio rack.
Position 8:Deep, natural hall with maximum allowed decayperfect for huge ambient swells.
The T2 is wired for true bypass and accepts a standard 9v 2.1mm center-negative Boss-style power supply. The current draw is 100mA. Make sure you isolated power supply is capable of putting out 100mA of current before assigning it to a tap.
