Tonal Evaluation
Robin Hood isn't the only one who looks good in Sherwood Forest Green! This heavy-relic heartbreaker has tone to match its spectacular looks, so lets dive in and see what makes it so awesome! In general, this Telecaster sounds like a Les Paul that went on The Biggest Loser. It's boomy in the bass, but the low-end has a dry quality that helps give it an extraordinarily clear voice. Some Telecasters also have dry, biting high-end, but this one is much more lush and chimey. The midrange is present but not overbearing, and the attack is pleasingly spongey. All of this comes together to create the perfect rock and roll Telecaster! I could probably sit and play power chords on this thing through an overdriven amp all day, because doing so fills me with child-like joy. Single-note leads sound fat, too, because of the fantastic note bloom and harmonic resonance. Guitars that sound like this have the capacity to connect you to the funnest parts of playing music, and that's why they're so inspiring. I would recommend this Tele to anyone that wants to rock and roll all night and/or party every day!
