Just route a signal through the 1/4" inputs or from your computer via USB — just touch a pad at the appropriate start and end points, and the SPD-SX creates a perfect loop. And thanks to the included SPD-SX Wave Manager software, it's easy to organize your recorded samples and transfer them to and from your computer. Intuitive sampling
You can create your own samples and loops from playing on the Roland SPD-SX, or from an external audio source routed to the SPD-SX's 1/4" inputs. Just press a button to enter sampling mode, touch the pad you want to start recording, and touch it again to end recording and create a perfect loop.
