This addition to the Elite series, the Ovation Elite Plus, boasts several upgrades over the original. For starters, the AAA solid spruce top with hand-selected exotic veneer looks and sounds better than eveNext, the signature rounded composite body and upgraded 5-piece mahogany/maple neck are lighter, richer, and more natural for a playing experience acoustic players will appreciate. Finally, the onboard Op-Pro Studio preamp features an EQ section, tuner, and a compressor — helping to smooth out chords, fingerpicked parts, and leads straight from the stage or direct into a recording device.




Striking and responsive top
The Elite Plus's solid spruce top provides excellent projection, balance, and focus to Ovation's upgraded Lyrachord body. And for a bold look that will capture an audience's attention, a hand-selected exotic wood veneer of olive ash burl gives the Elite Plus Contour the look of a high-end custom instrument.




Signature composite body
Ovation's lightweight Lyrachord composite body now provides a richer and more dynamic playing response both acoustically and plugged in. A comfortable curve keeps the Elite Plus from digging into the player's body during performances, and a cutaway provides easy access to higher frets for solos and lead work.




Onboard Op-Pro Studio preamp
The Elite Plus's Op-Pro Studio preamp now includes an onboard compressor to smooth out playing dynamics. This helps to tame distracting jumps in level when plugged in direct. A three-band EQ section with mid-dip switch lets you sculpt a tone that's perfectly tailored to your voice or ensemble, and an onboard tuner will keep you in tune between songs.
